Organic Apple Gala 4pcs Canada (Air Flown)
Highlights: New season’s apples air flown in from Canada!
In the early 1930’s a New Zealand apple cultivator named J.H. Kidd crossed his new varietal Kidd’s Orange Red apples (a cross of Red Delicious with Cox’s Orange Pippin) with Golden Delicious. The result was the globally popular Gala apple.
The Gala apple’s size is a little smaller than most apples, making it ideal for a child’s lunchbox. Crisp and sweet with a red blush over the golden yellow base colour, the apple is also harvested relatively early so is on the market at the start of apple season.
