Organic Lavender Honey is produced by our bees originating from the wild lavender flowers of the Natural Park of the Sierra de Gredos located in the province of Avila (Spain), at an altitude of 1700 to 2190 meters. The Bona Mel organic lavender honey is of clear amber colour with reddish tones, of aroma slightly intense and persistent, sweet in the mouth and in some cases, with slight sour notes. We conduct honey harvesting in June. The certification system of organic honey guarantees superior product quality, not only for the analysis of the final product but also for the fulfilment of sustainable and natural management.

SENSORY CHARACTERISTICS

Visual appearance (Colour): Clear amber, with reddish shades.
Aroma: Lightly intense and persistent.
Taste (mouth feel): Sweet taste and in some cases, with slight sour notes.
Texture (Crystallization): Slow crystallization, often starting at the bottom and rising in the form of a constellation.
