Highlights: Patagonian toothfish (Dissostichus eleginoides) 鳕鱼 xuě yú with the alternative names Chilean sea bass and Snow cod, is a deepwater fish found in the Southern ocean and off the southern tip of South America, hence the names Patagonian toothfish and Chilean sea bass.
It is highly prized for its delicious flavour and has a high level of heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids and is an excellent source of protein and vitamin D3.
Omega-3 is particularly beneficial for eye health and protects against dry eyes and macular degeneration. It is also invaluable for reducing inflammation caused by excessive processed food with high levels of omega-6 and enables the body to re-balance.
