Oil pulling is a traditional Ayurvedic practice to promote oral hygiene by swishing oil in the mouth. VCO is the best oil to use as it contains lauric acid, an antimicrobial property that help to withdraw bacteria and toxins out from your mouth and moisten the gums at the same time.
All you need : 1 Tbsp of VCO
Time : 10 to 20 minutes
Indication : Do it before breakfast and on an empty stomach. Best practiced in a sitting position with the chin up.
Swish the VCO all around your mouth for about 10 to 20 minutes. As you swish, the oil will be forced in between the teeth and by the end of the activity, the oil would now become milky white and thinner. Spit out the oil (do not swallow the oil as it contains bacteria and toxins) and wash up with warm water. You may finish up this procedure by doing routine tooth brushing.

5. Hair Oil – For Healthier and Stronger Hair
Your hair is your crowning glory, this proverb defines perfectly on the importance of having a healthy hair. This is because the lauric acid in coconut oil has high affinity for hair proteins and is easily absorbed into the hair shaft.
