Grown organically in one of Zenxin Contract Farm, at Lojing Farm, Cameron Highland, ZENXIN Organic Siew Pak Choy, also known as bok choy or Chinese celery cabbage are a leafy vegetable that grows into very pale green short, chunky stalks and glossy, deep green leaves.  They are hand-picked for best quality and are strictly grown in accordance with organic farming methods, without the use of pesticides and chemicals, using instead organic fertilizers and compost. Likewise in ZENXIN own farm, ZENXIN contract farm, also undergoes random pesticides tests on soil, water and produce of farms to ensure compliance to Australia and International Federation of Organic Farm Movements (IFOAM)’s international organic standards, certified by NASAA, to preserve the pure organic quality of the fresh produce.

Siew Pak Choy, one of the most popular low-calorie green leafy vegetables. It only contains 13 kcal per 100g of raw siew pak choy, making it a great ingredient when you have to keep your weight in check.  

Being one of the members of the Brassica family vegetable, Siew Pak Choy also contain high amounts of lutein, zeaxanthin, sulforaphane, and more of phytonutrients that are known for reducing risk of certain cancers such as breast, colon and prostate cancer and optimise blood lipid profile by reducing LDL cholesterol, the “bad” cholesterol in the blood.
