It is a rich source of fibre, Vitamins C and K, β-carotene, lutein and zeaxanthin and other valuable antioxidants. Like many brassicas, it offers indoles, mainly di-indolyl-methan and suforaphane which help protect the body by inhibiting cancer-cell growth.
