Carrot Purée – from 6 months

Ingredients:

  • 300 g ZENXIN Organic Carrots, washed, cut in pieces (2 cm)
  • 250 g water

Methods

  1. Place carrots in mixing bowl and grate 4 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
  2. Add water, cook 12 min/100°C/speed “Stirring”  then blend 20 sec/speed 5-7increasing speed gradually. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
  3. Blend again 20 sec/speed 5-7, increasing speed gradually. Check food is fully puréed and thoroughly cooked then transfer to serving bowl. Store remaining purée in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 24 hours or freeze for up to 2 weeks. Leave to cool, checking temperature is suitable for your baby before serving.
  1. Cut the carrots into smaller pieces. 
  2. In a pot, add carrots and water and cook for 12 minutes. 
  3. Transfer the ingredients into a blender and blend for 20 seconds. 
  4. Check food is fully puréed and thoroughly cooked then transfer to serving bowl.Leave to cool, checking temperature is suitable for your baby before serving.
  5. Store remaining purée in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 24 hours or freeze for up to 2 weeks.
